Welcome to our website
Hi everyone ๐.
Big news, we have moved - and are holding an OPEN EVENING on THURSDAY 3rd MARCH 2022 from 7.45 - 9.30 p.m. at
Immanuel Baptist Church
109 Victoria Rd N, Southsea, Portsmouth, Southsea PO5 1PS
The chuch have welcomed us with open arms and we are really happy to be able to rehearse in such a lovely atmosphere.
Do come along and meet the group, join in and have some fun. You'll be glad you did...
Normal rehearsal times are the same as always - Thursday evenings during term time, from 7.30 to 9.30. We are ensuring everything is covid compliant.
Here is just a little bit about us:
We are a small, friendy choir for female voices singing a wide range of music to suit all tastes, including music from the shows such as "Les Miserables" and "Phantom of the Opera", to Westlife's "You Raise Me Up" and The Military Wives' popular "Wherever You Are", 'Annie's Song', Freddie Mercury and Abba.
As a Community Choir, we have raised thousands of pounds for both local and national charities, and entered many Music Festivals. Nowadays, we concentrate more on entertaining people and perform many concerts throughout the year in different venues in and around Portsmouth, including a concert in aid of The Lord Mayor's Appeal at the Guildhall, and summer and Christmas concerts at John Pounds Church in Old Portsmouth. The Choir is available to hire for Weddings and other occasions.
Many things about us has changed over recent years but one thing never changes, that singing makes you so happy - Russell Grant, while judging a TV choir competition said 'You can hear a smile when ca choir is enjoying the singing'...well, that is us.
if you have ever thought about joining a choir, please join us on a Thursday evening and see what we are all about. I promise you won't be dissapointed.
